Have a little gander at a few of the projects I’ve worked on that are allowed to be shared . New projects shall be added as and when permitted.
SOAP BOX LABS
For this lovely client Soap Box Labs I had to re-rig the dog to work in Maya and animate the movements to be exported for compositing .
Challenges
Pre bought rig that was not optimised for my 3d software
short turn around time for the amount of animations needed
Making a pre made model unique to the client
Solutions
After some trouble shooting it was more time effective to create a new basic rig for the character
Working a few extra hours each evening and setting up the renders to be completed durning down time
As time was tight I changed bits of the textures to personalise the character . Eg the collar was changes to the Soap Box Logo
PLAYHOUSE PICTURES
This was a grand little studio concept project . With just a basic drawn floor plan to work from . Collaborating with the playhouse team to get the first concepts out . I continue to work with them on a variety of projects on and offset .
WICK FRAGRANCE
I work with wick on an on going bases . Helping them with their 3d renders, product mock-ups and STL files for master mould making.
3D product creation is great for the environment and helps you save as once you see your product in real space you can make final tweaks before actual production begins.
Pattern design work
I was asked to create a hot air balloon pattern for a range of children‘s clothes . We agreed on tw/o final designs . With the client going with the one printed on the clothing item below.
Easy colour variations we offered using Adobe photoshops HSL and colour changing functions. With a few minor tweaks they all came out slenderly. I throughly enjoyed seeing how the final product came out .
The hot air balloon was hand drawn and then paint effects were used to add colour .
